Updates On The Upcoming Release
As a homage to our shared passion for classic MMORPGs like Ultima Online, we have decided to call our upcoming release: BRITARIA. We feel this new name was warranted given the change in team, ownership, and leadership, as well as the new direction and developments planned for the game.
What To Expect?
Over the next few weeks, you’ll see our communities and sites shift in this new direction. This will include a new website and updated whitepaper. We’ll share all the relevant updates on Discord and our new Twitter page.
New Token Launch
Given the new name, we will be launching a new token to replace the Legends of Aria (ARIA) token. If you bought in the presale or seed round, you need not take any action just yet. However, if you purchased tokens on an exchange or in our public sale, then please fill out this form to receive your new tokens: Token Exchange Form. In order to claim your DREAD, you must swap your $ARIA tokens prior to January 1st, 2023.
The currency will now be known as the Dread Coin or $DREAD. Tokens will be swapped at a 1:1 ratio (1 ARIA = 1 DREAD). Trading for this new coin will begin on Thursday, October 6th, at 2:00pm EST. For those that bought in the public sale and have been using our Magna claim portal, you will be able to claim your tokens using your same address early next week.
Gen Zero Holders
For those that hold one of our Gen Zero Character NFTs, you need not take any action; however, you may expect to see a small change in the artwork of your characters prior to game launch, replacing the Legends of Aria shield icon. In addition, the game name on marketplaces like Fractal will be swapped with BRITARIA over the next month or two.
